Saved page questions buyers ask
Why do my saved items show as sold or unavailable?
When a seller marks a listing as sold, sets it to pending, or removes it from Marketplace entirely, the listing stays in your Saved list with a visible status indicator. Facebook Marketplace does not automatically remove these stale listings from your Saved page, and there is no bulk-delete or auto-clean option built into the platform. The result is that your Saved list accumulates dead inventory over time: listings you once considered but can no longer act on remain visible alongside active ones, making the list harder to use. Manually removing each stale listing by tapping the three-dot menu and unsaving it is the only native option, which becomes tedious once the list grows past a dozen or so items. MarketClean addresses this by reading the visible status text on each saved card and hiding the ones that are no longer active, so only listings you can still contact a seller about remain visible.
Can MarketClean clean up sold or unavailable saved listings?
Yes. When you open your Facebook Marketplace Saved page with MarketClean active, it reads the visible status text on each saved listing card and hides any that show a sold, pending, unavailable, or removed status label. This leaves only listings that appear active and can still be messaged or purchased. The cleanup runs automatically as the page loads and continues applying as additional saved items load while you scroll. MarketClean does not unsave, delete, or click on any listings — it only hides them from your view in the browser. If a listing is later reactivated by the seller and the status changes back to active, it will reappear in your view on the next page load. The filter depends on the visible status text shown on the listing card. Listings that are unavailable but do not display a visible status label may not be caught by the filter.
Does MarketClean delete my saved items?
No. MarketClean only hides listings from your view in the browser. It does not unsave, delete, or interact with any listings on your behalf.
Which statuses does MarketClean hide on the Saved page?
MarketClean reads the visible status text on each saved card and hides listings marked as sold, pending, unavailable, or removed. It does not click or modify anything.
Does the Saved page cleanup run automatically?
Yes. When you open your Saved page with the filter enabled, MarketClean applies it as the page loads and continues as new items appear while you scroll.
