Almost everything is free
Keyword filters, freshness tools, sorting, and listing cleanup run on your device and stay free. Only unlimited distance filtering needs Pro.
MarketClean is a browser extension that filters your Facebook Marketplace feed. Nearly everything it does runs in your browser and is free, forever. One feature — the distance filter — relies on a paid mapping service, so unlimited use of it is offered through a paid subscription, MarketClean Pro. These terms explain what's free, what Pro includes, how billing works, and the limits that apply. By installing the extension or subscribing to Pro, you agree to them.

Keyword filters, freshness tools, sorting, and listing cleanup run on your device and stay free. Only unlimited distance filtering needs Pro.
$4.99/month or $39/year, with a 7-day free trial, cancel anytime. It unlocks unlimited distance filtering — everything else stays free.
Stripe is the merchant of record. It processes payment, adds and remits any tax, and sends your receipts. We never see your card details.
MarketClean is operated by Andrei Purcar, an individual developer based in Romania ("we", "us", "MarketClean"). You can reach us at andrei.projects@proton.me. These terms are between you and us and govern your use of the MarketClean extension and the MarketClean Pro subscription. The payment for a subscription is sold and processed by Stripe as merchant of record — see Billing & merchant of record.
Free, forever. The features that run entirely in your browser cost nothing to operate and are not gated:
MarketClean Pro. The distance filter is the one exception. It sends each listing's location to a paid geocoding service to convert place names into coordinates, and that cost grows with every search. Unlimited distance filtering is therefore part of Pro. You can try it free for 7 days — no card needed to start. When the trial ends, the distance filter turns off unless you subscribe; there is no automatic charge. Every other feature keeps working, free.
The distance filter depends on the location information available on the listing and on the center you choose. If Facebook shows an incomplete or incorrect listing location, or if your fallback center city is misspelled or too vague, MarketClean may not be able to confirm the distance for that listing.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. That means Stripe is the seller for the payment transaction: it collects your payment, calculates and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT in your country, and issues your receipts and invoices. We never receive or store your full card details.
At checkout you may be asked to accept Stripe's payment terms in
addition to these terms. Your card or bank statement will show the
charge as LINK.COM* followed by a
MarketClean descriptor, and your receipt is sent by Link, Stripe's
checkout service ("Sold through Link"). For questions about a
specific charge you can contact us or Stripe/Link support.
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and it is not renewed afterwards. Pro includes a 7-day free trial, so you can evaluate it before being charged; payments are non-refundable except where required by law. The full details, including your statutory rights, are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
MarketClean is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use as a browser extension. You agree not to resell access, share a paid entitlement across unrelated users, or attempt to circumvent the free-tier limits or the entitlement checks that protect the paid geocoding service. The extension is read-only on Facebook — it does not act on your behalf — and you remain responsible for complying with Facebook's own terms while you browse.
MarketClean is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Because the extension works by reading and restyling Facebook Marketplace pages, changes Facebook makes to its site can temporarily affect how filters behave; the distance filter also depends on third-party map data (LocationIQ, built on OpenStreetMap) whose coverage and accuracy we don't control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to MarketClean Pro is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
MarketClean is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms. "Facebook" and "Marketplace" are trademarks of their respective owner and are referenced only to describe what the extension works on.
If these terms change, the updated version is published here with a new "Last updated" date. For changes that affect an active subscription — such as a price change — we'll give reasonable notice before your next renewal so you can cancel if you disagree.
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and disputes are subject to the competent Romanian courts. If you are a consumer in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Because Stripe is the merchant of record, Stripe's own terms may also apply to the payment transaction itself.
